Tansy One is an oral emergency contraceptive in single-dose formula containing Levonorgestrel 1.5 mg. It belongs to the Emergency Contraceptive drug class, manufactured by Silom Medical, Thailand. Same active ingredient as Postinor (the originator brand).
Levonorgestrel works by inhibiting or delaying ovulation, preventing the release of an egg. If ovulation has occurred, it thickens cervical mucus to impede sperm, and may affect the endometrium to reduce the likelihood of implantation.

How to Take Tansy One / Dosage
Dosage: Take 1 tablet (Levonorgestrel 1.5 mg) once only. No second tablet is needed.
Timing: Take as soon as possible after intercourse, within 72 hours (3 days).
With food: Can be taken with or without food.
If vomiting within 2 hours: Take another tablet as the drug may not have been fully absorbed.
After taking Tansy One:
Use condoms until your next period
Your period may come 1-2 weeks early or late
If your period is more than 3 weeks late, take a pregnancy test
Warning: Tansy One does not protect against pregnancy from subsequent intercourse. Use other contraception going forward.
